Tap, tap, tap...anyone still reading this blog?

I have had a very long unintentional break in my blog.  I can't believe my last post was Dec. 4th!  Several things have been keeping me busy but not so busy that I couldn't write a few lines here and there.  So, I don't really have any excuses and I hope that I can be more consistent.
My husband and my youngest son are off skiing together and spending some time with my middle son.  I don't like to ski and gave it up a few years ago.  It is something my boys and my husband love and it gives them some good one on one time with each other. I am enjoying being at home and catching up on many projects in the works.  I just purchased a Polaroid sx70 and I'm anxious to play around with it.  I really love the old feel that you get with these cameras.  I will post some of these images soon.
I mentioned in my last post that I have opened a booth in Sono Market Place.  The holiday season was great but it is a little quieter now.  I love having this place to share what I love and even though it has slowed down a bit it is soooo much fun.  The other vendors are wonderfully talented people and I enjoy being with them very much.

I'm off to have my coffee and plan the rest of the day.  It's nice to get back to my blog!

My new home away from home...

I mentioned earlier that I was renting a space in a new market in Norwalk CT. called Sono Market Place.  Well we finally opened!  We had the grand opening last weekend and a soft opening the weekend before.  It is an awesome place with 50 food and artisan vendors under one roof.  I'm still working out the kinks for myself but so far it has been so much fun.  I have a few pictures of my booth and I thought I would share a little each week about the other vendors and their booths.  If you live anywhere near Norwalk CT. it is worth the drive to come and visit.  I think that you will be pleasantly surprised.

A few more holiday goodies...

Again, I know that's only October but I have been working on Christmas items so I thought I would keep posting them.  If something catches your eye you'll know where to find it.
I have done a variation of these ornaments in the past but this time I'm using color.  I painted pages from an old dictionary in different shades adding a nice little pop of color.   They aren't traditional red and green but I think it's nice to step outside the box.

I will be working on these today, as well, since I'm stuck inside waiting out hurricane Sandy.  I hope anyone in her path is safe!  They are available here

Getting ready for Sandy...

It looks like we are in the path of hurricane Sandy so I'm thinking that this will probably be the last weekend of beautiful fall foliage around here.  Here is one last look before all the wind and rain take the leaves away...
