Last Friday my husband and I spent the afternoon with my eldest son, his wife, and my brother at the Cloisters in Fort Tryon NY.  The Cloisters is a branch of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and houses a beautiful collection of art from medieval Europe.  My brother is a historical restoration architect and he and his firm have worked on many projects there.  It was a great way to spend the afternoon.

New projects...

I recently made a decision to take a booth at SoNo Market Place in Norwalk CT.  It officially opens at the beginning of Oct. so I have been getting ready creating the products that I will be selling.  I will be selling my photographs, original art work and prints, mixed media pieces, terrariums, and vintage items.  The idea being that the pieces all work together to create lovely home decor.  Since we open in Oct. it will the perfect time to come and starting your holiday shopping.

These are a few of the projects I have been working on...prints of original art work and mini terrariums, and photography.  I'm really excited to be able to talk with people about the my creative process and meet other like minded souls.
If you live in the area I hope that you will stop by.  It would be a beautiful and easy drive from NYC or NJ in the fall.  I will keep you posted as to when the grand opening is and the special events that are planned.

A little end of summer trip to Martha's Vineyard...

My sister has a home in Martha's Vineyard and we were able to spend a couple of days there this past week to finish up the summer.

We went to the farmer's market...
Ate good food....
Listened to music by my nephew and his friend...
Had a little rest and relaxation...

A great way to end the summer...

Thanks B...
