Supply list for Printed Poetry…creating artful decor. Please note that the highlighted supplies are affiliate links. If you purchase through the link then I receive a small commission at no cost to you.

I will list what I am using but please use what you have first before purchasing anything else.

I use teabag paper, matte medium, a paint brush, black and white images printed from my inkjet printer in all the projects. To print on teabag paper, I also use computer paper and Easy Tack adhesive. You can also use scotch tape

Hurricane lantern.

Glass hurricane lantern. You can find a million of these at your local thrift shop. The ones that are open on both ends are easier to work with but it can also have a bottom. Any size will work but the ones in the 4”-6” diameter range are easy to work with.

Mulberry paper

Coasters

At least 4 4” white ceramic tiles. I found a box of them at the thrift shop but you can also get them at Lowes or Home Depot.

Water proof sealer like mod podge. Truthfully I’m still trying to find a good sealer that is easy to work with. I will keep you posted

A piece of sandpaper

Lampshade

I found mine at the thrift shop but I have seen them at Target and Walmart as well. Whatever size you prefer, I will say starting with a smaller one might be a good idea. Drum shades are really good to work with because of the straight sides. No pleats!

Hanging Paper Lanterns

The paper lanterns come in a variety of sizes but I use the 10” ones. There were 10 in a pack

Clay Dish

Air dry clay

White or buff acrylic paint

A shallow dish to use as a mold

Sand paper and plastic wrap

Sachets

Mulberry paper

Sewing machine or needle and thread for stitching

Pinking shears

I use balsam in the sachets but you can use lavender, rose petals, or your favorite potpourri
