Mixed media weaving is a weaving using alternative materials to traditional yarns and threads. If it can be woven then it is fair game. It is so much fun to try different materials to see how they work. The finished piece can be displayed by mounting it to mat board and put in a frame or secured to a piece of driftwood to hang.

Materials: linen, rice paper, coffee filter with photo printed on it, hand spun yarn, kitchen twine, and jute. Embellished with a piece of metal. The back is finished with a piece of linen.
